CBSE has release the class 12th result on its official result website @ cbseresults.nic.in. Due to heavy traffic site is slow, therefore it is advised to student to keep checking it after 15 minutes.
HRD minister Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank informed student via twitter about the 12th class result.
If they want to know their result they can drop us their roll number, name and email id @ firstname.lastname@example.org
Steps to download CBSE Class 12th result
- Visit official website of CBSE @ cbseresults.nic.in
- Select the link saying “CBSE 12th/ Sr. Secondary Result”
- Enter your roll number and other details as required.
- Click Submit
- Your Result will appear on your screen.
- Download it for future reference
CBSE will release the result for Class 10th 2020 on/before 15th July on its official website. Candidates who appeared for CBSE Class 10th can download their results from the official website i.e. cbse.nic.in once released.
This year CBSE Class 10th and 12th digitally signed marksheets will be made available on DigiLocker App for students to download and for future use.
Earlier the examinations were scheduled in March-April 2020 but due to COVID and national lockdown, the exams got postponed. Later these exams were rescheduled between 1st July 2020 to 15th July 2020 but again were canceled on 25th June 2020 due to increasing COVID cases in the state.
The marking scheme for the students will be based on their internal assessments/pre-board examinations however if any Class 12th candidate wants to reappear for the examination to improve their score can also do the same once the COVID situations are under control.
Class 10th candidates will not be given any chance to reappear for any examination in order to improve their scores.
Sanyam Bhardwaj, CBSE Exam Controller noted,” However, for students who chose to sit for exams, their marks in the exams will be treated as the final score.”
Ramesh Pokhriyal, HRD Minister tweeted, “ Students will be given the choice to decide if they want their results based on the methodology of assessment as decided by #CBSE or choose to write the exams again. I would like to reiterate that the health of students, parents and teachers is our prime concern.”
Usually, Class 12th Examination result is released first and then the Class 10th examination result is released after a week or so. This year it is expected that Class 10th and Class 12th Examination results will be released on the same day i.e. 15th July 2020.
Last year, over 13 lakh students appeared for CBSE class 12th examination and over 18 lakh students appeared for the class 10th board examination. The pass percentage for last year was 86.70 for the 10th class and 83.01 percent for the 12th class. Last Year Meghna Srivastava topped CBSE 12th board by getting 99.8%..
Nearly 30 lakh students In total are waiting for their Class 10th and Class 12th results this year.
Students can also apply for verification if they want to if they expect more marks. In this only, the totaling of the marks would be done again.
For the same, the candidate has to submit a form to Departmental Secretary, CBSE along with the verification fee per subject.
Students can apply for the re-evaluation where the answer sheets will be checked again, which may result in an increase or decrease of marks.
