Delhi University releases first cut off list, Hindu College 99% for Political Science

Delhi University Admission 28 June 2019: Delhi university has released the first cut off list on its for Admission in various colleges under Delhi University for several programmes. For admission to B.Com. (Hons) course in Shri Ram College of Commerce or SRCC the cut off has gone 98.50% for general category students 0.75% increase from last year.

For admission to BA Economics (Hons) 98.75% last year it was also 98.75%.

SRCC, Hansraj College, Kirori Mal College, Jesus and Mary College, Satyawati College, Bhagini Nivedita College, Dyal Singh College, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College and Shivaji College have already released their cut off list earlier. Cut-off in North-Campus-based Hansraj College has gone up by friction of 0.5 % this year for few programmes like BA Economics (Hons.). General candidates will need 97.25% for BA English (Hons) and 98.5% for BA Economics (Hons). 98.25% is the cut-off for BCom in Hansraj. In Jesus and Mary College, the students who are planning to get admission for BA Psychology will need to have 98% with 85% and above in Psychology (in Class 12) and 99% without Psychology or securing less than 85% in Psychology.

Still many colleges have not relased their cut off list like Miranda House, Hindu College, Lady Shri Ram College for Women or LSR College, Gargi College, Ramjas College, Sri Venkateswara College and Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College or ARSD College.

DU Admission 2019: What Next

The eligible candidates, who are willing to take admission in undergraduate courses, can enroll for document verification and DU admission approval from June 28 to July 1.

DU Admission 2019: Needed Documents

During the document verification round of DU counseling round, keep all the below-listed documents ready-

-Class 10 certificates (mark sheet or certificate)

-Class 12 certificate (mark sheet or certificate)

-Recent character certificate

-Provisional certificate

-5 passport size photograph

-SC/ST/OBC/EWS/CW/KM certificate (as applicable)

-Printout of the Delhi University registration form

Reach your counseling venue with two set of photocopies of the required documents along with the original certificates.

The release dates for next three DU 2019 Cutoff Lists are-

First Cut off- July 27

Second Cut off- July 4

Third Cut off – July 9

Fourth Cut off – July 15

Fifth cut off – July 20

St. Stephens College,one of the prestigious colleges of Delhi University has released its first cut off list on Monday for under graduate admissions for 2019-20 admissions. For BA (Hons) Economics and BA (Hons) English both cut off has reached 98.75 % for General students belonging . Cut off list for rest of the colleges will be released in coming days. More than three lakh students have registered on the Delhi University’s website for admissions in different undergraduate courses as per the University. Registration process was started on 03rd June and ended on 14th June. Students who have registered for the admission in Delhi university and have made the payment and who were interested in taking admission in St. Stephens can now tak a look on cut off list of St. Stephens college. Delhi university has released the first cut off list today  June.

Delhi University has increased 10 % seats for the EWS and there will be a rise of close to 6,000 seats, taking the total number of seats for undergraduate courses to 62,000. There will be separate cut-offs for the category.
