Delhi University has canceled the Open Book Examination (OBE). These examinations have been canceled for all streams of Final Year/ Semester/Term of Undergraduate and Postgraduate students including SOL and NCWEB.
These examinations were scheduled from 10th July 2020 onwards.

The new dates for examination and other information will be provided by the University in due course of time.
This decision of canceling the examination was taken into consideration because many students were unaware of the registration process and how to appear for the open book examination (OBE). Also, many students did not have access to computers and the internet.
Delhi University has already told the Delhi High Court that they have decided to postpone the final year examination till August.
University submitted before Justice Pratibha M Singh that the exams will be conducted after 15th August 2020 and have postponed all the examination till that date.
Justice Singh had a video conference with University over the decision of conducting the examination. She said, “Just see how you are playing the lives of children. You were not fair with the court about your preparedness for holding the online examinations. You are saying you are ready but the minutes of your meeting shows the contrary.”
Delhi University School of Open Learning (SOL) has released the admit card for the July Semester-end examinations on its official website. Candidates who have to appear for the SOL examinations can download their admit cards from the official website i.e. sol.du.ac.in
Delhi University School of Open Learning (SOL) UG examinations are scheduled from 1st July 2020 to 18th July 2020 while the PG exams will end on 27th July 2020.
As we all know that the examination will be conducted in an open book format which would also include assignment based evaluation.
Candidates must note that without admit card no students will be allowed in the examination center. School of Open Learning Delhi University offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs under different streams.
All the honors students- eligible for the OBE examinations that are all final year Honors students and the part I and II ex-students will be able to download Hall Tickets till 8 PM on 27th June 2020.
Candidates also need to register themselves for the Assignment based revaluation for the same, candidates have to follow the below steps or may directly access with the direct link provided :
- Visit the official website i.e. sol.du.ac.in.
- On the home page, click on “SOL-Assignment Based Evaluation – 2020 Click here”
- A new page will open, fill in the required credentials.
- Recheck on the information and click on Submit.
- Download and take a print out fr future reference.

Steps to download the hall ticket for UG/PG examination 2020:
- Visit the official website i.e. sol.du.ac.in.
- On the home page, click on “SOL- Student Dashboard Click here”
- A new page will open, Enter the SOL login details (Roll Number, Bar Code).
- Your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download and Print Hall Ticket for future reference
