As we know that CBSE board exams are around the corner, only 8 weeks left and one of the honest thing you can do at this point is to evaluate yourself whether you have studied or wasted your time throughout the year. If you have studied hard, attended all classes, took coaching, and had great numbers in pre board exams then you really don’t need any special advice but even if for some reason you could not study well you guys do not need to worry, you guys still can pull this up by working smart or by studying smart. Of course there is no alternative of hard work but studying smartly can reduce the burden of stress and can make it easy for your to clear these exams. Without wasting your precious time here are following rules which you can follow to do well in your board exams. I have tried to keep it very simple and very precise.
First of all stress level is so high especially when exams are around and it is common. Fear is good because it makes us no to do stupid things but too much stress or fear is totally useless and it will have negative effect on you and on your studies. You don’t know what exact questions will come in exams but you know it will come from your course only, so focus should be on that.
Make a rigorous schedule for your studies or revisions. Cut down all other unwanted and unnecessary activities which is wasting your time. List out all your subject , rank them from strongest to weak subjects and dedicate the adequate time to those subjects. See, If you know what to study and when to study you will be more focused and determined. For e.g Most of the people sleeps while studying theory so try to study theory in the morning when you are fresh and you already had your sleep. Everyone gets the same 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, therefore make every second count.
Always leave last 10days for quick revision before your exams. Last 10 days are crucial. Identify your weak subjects and focus on them early but please under no circumstances waste your time. If you think your week subject is taking too much time , cut it short it may bring down your morale which is not good.

Blueprint is chapter wise marking scheme, this is particularly for smart studying and for those who could not study well in last few months. Make sure you prepare last 3 years question papers at least. Try to solve sample papers or model test papers too if you have them. It keeps you on your toes and also it helps you to get the command over the limited time you will have in exams. Try to complete these sample papers within 3 hours or less.
Make sure you have noted all the important points. Because in last 10 days it will be very useful to go through these points instead of reading your whole book again. In case if you have not noted down the important bullet points do not try to make them now as it will take too much time. Just highlight important points or sentences in your book and read them.
For god sake put your phone as much far as you can or I would say give it your parents they will take care of it till your exams are done. Phone is the biggest distraction for students. Time is free but it is priceless, you cannot own or keep it but you can use it or spend it.
Breaks are important and you should take them on regular interval, it helps in reducing the stress. IT refreshes your mind and soul. You will feel more focused and energized afterwards. There is a very thin line between wasting time and taking breaks therefore understand it very carefully that you are taking break from stress not from studies.
This is the most common mistake we all have done in the past and that is why it is coming from the experience. You are not competing with anyone except yourself. So please do not ask your friend how much revision he or she has completed or how well they are prepared. And do not answer if someone ask you the same question just tell them you want to focus on studies. It sometimes break the confidence of the student when they know that their friends are well prepared and they are not. Even if you are doing group studies try to avoid these questions and focus on studies. If you think group studies are creating more stress then immediately leave the group and try solo study. You can discuss questions with teachers if they are available that is the best.
This is important, we do not know why don’t talk to our parents about our studies while preparing for board exams. And same goes with parents, sometimes their expectation makes it more difficult for their children to focus. So do not worry about the outcomes, once in a while go and talk to your parents that how you are feeling about your exams and what are you expecting from your parents. Tell them not worry and try to make them understand what kind of thoughts you are going in your mind. They will understand it and hopefully cut you some slacks and I am sure they will support you. You coaching teacher or class teacher can be helpful to you, they have so much experience with them that they really can guide you in dealing with all the stress or any anxiety.
Do not get upset if you are not well prepared, do not worry about the outcome. Just focus and give your exams with your best. Try and fail but do not fail to try. These are parts of life so just relax and study that is all you have to do.
