Jharkhand Board has released results for the Class 10th Exam 2020 today i.e. 8th July 2020 at 1 pm on its official website. Candidates who had appeared for the JAC Class 10th Exam 2020 can download their results from the official website of Jharkhand Board i.e. jac.jharkhand.gov.in
Highest pass percentage is from Koderma District which is 83.64%. on the second number is Ranchi with 80.52% pass percentage.
The district with the lowest pass percentage is Pakur with 63.98% students passing.
The result was declared by Jaganath Mahto, State Education Minister in a press conference.
Around 6.21 lakh students have appeared for the JAC Board examination this year out of which 3.8 lakh students appeared for JAC Class 10th Examination and around 2.41 lakh students appeared for JAC Class 12th Examination.
Around 2.88 lakh students have passed the examination this year which is 75.01% of students passing out of the total, which is 5% more than last year.
Earlier, Arvind Pratap Singh, Chairman of JAC said that “As soon as the evaluation process for Class 10th examination is completed, the board is ready to declare the results in the first week of July 2020, while the Class 12th results will be declared by the end of July 2020.”
Class 10th examination was earlier scheduled from 11th February to 28th February but due to the increasing Coronavirus cases and National Lockdown the exams were postponed and the evaluation was delayed.
After the result declaration if any student wants to apply for revaluation can also do the same by filling the form and submitting the nominal fee on the official website.
Steps to download the result for Jharkhand Board Class 10th Exam 2020:
- Visit the official website @ jac.jharkhand.gov.in
- On the home page, click on the Result link.
- A new page will open, fill in the required credentials.
- Your Jharkhand Board Class 10th Exam 2020 results will appear on your screen.
- Download and take a print out of the result for future reference.
Students can also apply for verification if they want to if they expect more marks. In this only, the totaling of the marks would be done again.
For the same, the candidate has to submit a form to Departmental Secretary, JAC Board along with the verification fee per subject.
Students can apply for the re-evaluation where the answer sheets will be checked again, which may result in an increase or decrease of marks.

Students who fail to pass in one (or more) subjects will be given a chance to save their year by appearing for that examination again. Students need at least 35% in each subject to pass the examination. If any student scores below the required percentage, he/she will be given a second chance to appear for that subject. The dates for the compartment will soon be shared after the results are released.
