Jharkhand Board has released results for the Class  12th (Science, Arts, and Commerce) Exam 2020 today at 5 PM on its official website.

Arvind Prasad, JAC Chairman has confirmed that the JAC Class 12^th Examination result is will be announced today i.e. 17^th July 2020 at 1 PM by Jagarnath Mahto, State Education Minister in JAC Head Office in Ranchi.

Candidates who have appeared for the JAC Class 12th  Exam 2020 can download their results from the official website of Jharkhand Board i.e. jac.jharkhand.gov.in

JAC CLASS 10TH RESULT 2020 :

Jharkhand Board has already released the results for Class 10th examinations on 8th July 2020, Class 11th Examination on 6th July 2020, Class 8th on 4th June 2020, and Class 9th on 2nd June 2020.

STUDENTS APPEARED FOR EXAMINATION:

Around 6.21 lakh students have appeared for the JAC Board examination this year out of which 3.8 lakh students appeared for JAC Class 10^th Examination and around 2.41 lakh students appeared for JAC Class 12^th Examination.

Last year around 4 lakh students had appeared for the Class 12^th Science and Commerce Examination and the result was announced on 21st May 2019 while around 1.86 lakh students appeared for the Class 12^th Arts Examination and the result for the same was declared on 15^th May 2019. The overall pass percentage was 57%.

RESULTS DATES POSTPONED:

JAC Class 12th Examinations were scheduled from 8th March 2020 to 21st March 2020 and the result was expected to release in the month of May 2020 but due to Coronavirus and national lockdown, the evaluation process was postponed.

After the result declaration if any student wants to apply for revaluation can also do the same by filling the form and submitting the nominal fee on the official website.

Steps to download the result for Jharkhand Board Class 12th Exam 2020: (ONLINE)

1. Visit the official website @ jac.jharkhand.gov.in
2. On the home page, click on the Result link.
3. A new page will open, fill in the required credentials.
4. Your Jharkhand Board Class 12th Exam 2020 results will appear on your screen.
5. Download and take a print out of the result for future reference.

VERIFICATION:

Students can also apply for verification if they want to if they expect more marks. In this only, the totaling of the marks would be done again.

For the same, the candidate has to submit a form to Departmental Secretary, JAC Board along with the verification fee per subject.

RE-EVALUATION:

Students can apply for the re-evaluation where the answer sheets will be checked again, which may result in an increase or decrease of marks.

For the same students have to submit the re-evaluation form to the Departmental Secretary, JAC Board along with the nominal fee per subject.

SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATION:

Students who fail to pass in one (or more) subjects will be given a chance to save their year by appearing for that examination again. Students need at least 35% in each subject to pass the examination. If any student scores below the required percentage, he/she will be given a second chance to appear for that subject. The dates for the compartment will soon be shared after the results are released.

GRADING SYSTEM:
