The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has released the result for SSLC or Class 10th on 10th August 2020 on its official website as shared by S. Suresh Kumar, Education Minister on Wednesday.

Candidates can check their results on the official website of KSEEB or at examresults.net. The link for the scores will be activated only after the board declares the results.

DELAY IN RESULTS:

The examination was scheduled in the month of March 2020 but due to COVID and national lockdown, the examinations were postponed and then conducted between 25th June 2020 to 3rd July 2020.

The evaluation process is still in progress and might complete by the end of this end, as shared by the officials.

LAST YEAR RESULTS:

Around 73.7% of students cleared the examination. Girls had performed better than boys. The pass percentage among girl students was 79.59% and 68.46% for boys.

Steps to check Karnataka SSLC Result 2020:

  1. Open the official website at kar.nic.in .
  2. On the home page, click on the link which says “SSLC Result-2020”.
  3. A new page will open, fill in the required credentials.
  4. Your Karnataka SSLC result will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download it and print it for future reference.

VERIFICATION:

Students can also apply for verification if they want to if they expect more marks. In this only, the totaling of the marks would be done again.

For the same, the candidate has to submit a form to Departmental Secretary, Karnataka Board along with the verification fee per subject.

RE-EVALUATION:

Students can apply for the re-evaluation where the answer sheets will be checked again, which may result in an increase or decrease of marks.

For the same students have to submit the re-evaluation form to the Departmental Secretary, Karnataka Board along with the nominal fee per subject.

SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATION:

Students who fail to pass in one (or more) subjects will be given a chance to save their year by appearing for that examination again. Students need at least 35% in each subject to pass the examination.

MARKS GRADE
75% or above Distinction
60% or 74% First Division
45% to 59% Second Division
35% to 44% Pass Grade
34% or below Failed
