Maharashtra Board is has declared the results for Class 10th Examination 2020 today i.e. 29th July 2020 at 1 PM on the official website.  The board has already released the result for Class 12th on 16th July 2020 in which 85.55% of students passed the examination this year.

Overall pass percentage this year for Class 1oth Examination 2020 is 95.30%.

Candidates who have appeared for the Class 10th examination can check the results on the official website i.e. mahresult.nic.in

REGION WISE PERCENTAGE THIS YEAR:

Konkan: 98.77%

Pune: 97.34%

Nagpur: 93.84%

Amravati: 95.14%

Latur: 93.09%

Aurangabad: 92%

RESULT THIS YEAR:

A total of 15,84,264 students registered for the Class 10th Examination this year, but due to the ongoing pandemic and only 15,75,103 students could appear for the examination out of which 15,01,105 students qualified the examination.

CLASS 11TH ADMISSIONS:

The government has launched a new admission portal for the students who have qualified the class 10th exam and will now take the admissions in Class 11th or the First-year junior college (FYJC). This portal will facilitate admission of the metropolitan areas such as Pune-Pimpri, Chinchwad, Nashik, Aurangabad, Amravati, and Nagpur municipal areas.

The evaluation work started on 18th May 2020 and was delayed due to coronavirus and lockdown in the country.

Earlier the Maharashtra Board had decided to release the result on 10th June 2020 but seeing the current situation in the state, it seemed to be impossible.

Maharashtra Board conducted the Class 10th Examination from 3rd March 2020 to 23rd March 2020.

EARLIER ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Varsha Gaikwad, Maharashtra School Education Minister had said, “Paper checking for HSC exams has been completed and the answer sheet is being scanned. We are planning to declare the HSC results between 15th July 2020 – 20th July 2020. For the SSC exams, the history papers are still being checked and we are working to complete the process to declare the results by 31st July 2020.”

EXAM CANCELLED:

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education  (MSBSHSE) had released an official notification stating that the board will be awarding average marks to the Class 10th students for their Geography Examination. Geography Paper was postponed amid lock-down due to the corona-virus pandemic. For more detailed information, students can visit the official website of MSBSHSE i.e. mahahsscboard.in

Shakuntala Kale, Chairperson Maharashtra state Board stated “The committee which was constituted to take a decision on the issue has decided to allot average scores to the students for the Geography paper.”

Candidates can check for their Maharashtra board Class 10th result in two ways:

Due to heavy traffic on the official; website, students may face problems in checking the MHHSC Class 10th results, in that case students may check their result on the alternative website the link for which is given below:

STEPS TO DOWNLOAD THE RESULT FOR CLASS 10TH (ONLINE):

  1. Visit the official website i.e. mahresult.nic.in
  2. On the home page, click on the link “Class 10th Examination Result”
  3. A new page will open, fill in the required credentials.
  4. Your Maharashtra Board Class 10th examination result will appear on the screen.
  5. Download and take a print out of the result for future preferences.

STEPS TO DOWNLOAD THE RESULT FOR CLASS 10TH (VIA SMS):

  1. Type in the message box: MHSSC<ROLL NO.>
  2. Send the message to 57766
  3. You will get the result on your mobile number in SMS format.

VERIFICATION:

Students can also apply for verification if they want to if they expect more marks. In this only, the totaling of the marks would be done again.

For the same, the candidate has to submit a form to Departmental Secretary, MSBSHSE along with Rs.50 per subject.

Candidates can also apply for the photocopy of their evaluated answer sheet by paying a sum of Rs. 400 per subject.

RE-EVALUATION:

Students can apply for the re-evaluation where the answer sheets will be checked again, which may result in an increase or decrease of marks.

For the same students have to submit the re-evaluation form to the Departmental Secretary, MSBSHSE along with Rs. 300 per subject as a Re-evaluation fee.

SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATION:

Students who fail to pass in one (or more) subjects will be given a chance to save their year by appearing for that examination again.

75% or above Distinction
60% or 74% First Division
45% to 59% Second Division
35% to 44% Pass Grade
