Maharashtra Board has released the results for Class 12th Examination 2020 today i.e. 16th July 2020 at 1 PM on its official website. Candidates who have appeared for the Maharashtra Board Class 12th examination can download their result from the official result website i.e. mahresult.nic.in

Earlier, the evaluation work was pending after the lockdown was over, as a result, it took some time for the board to check student’s answer sheets for the Class 12th Board Examination. The evaluation work was started on 18th May 2020.
Earlier the Maharashtra Board had decided to release the result on 10th June 2020 but they decided to delay it after evaluating the pandemic situation in the state.
This year nearly 13 lakh students have appeared for the MSBSHE Class 12th Examination.
Maharashtra Board had scheduled the Class 12th Examination in the month of March 2020.
Currently, Maharashtra has the highest number of COVID cases in the country.
HOW TO CHECK THE RESULT:
Candidates can check for their Maharashtra board Class 12th result in two ways:
- Via SMS
STEPS TO DOWNLOAD THE RESULT FOR CLASS 12TH (ONLINE):
- Visit the official website i.e. mahresult.nic.in
- On the home page, click on the link “Class 12th Examination Result”
- A new page will open, fill in the required credentials.
- Your Maharashtra Board Class 12th examination result will appear on the screen.
- Download and take a print out of the result for future preferences.
STEPS TO DOWNLOAD THE RESULT FOR CLASS 12TH (VIA SMS):
- Type in the message box: MHHSC<ROLL NO.>
- Send the message to 57766
- You will get the result on your mobile number in SMS format.
Students can also apply for verification if they want to if they expect more marks. In this only, the totaling of the marks would be done again.
For the same, the candidate has to submit a form to Departmental Secretary, MSBSHSE along with Rs.50 per subject.
Candidates can also apply for the photocopy of their evaluated answer sheet by paying a sum of Rs. 400 per subject.
Students can apply for the re-evaluation where the answer sheets will be checked again, which may result in an increase or decrease of marks.
For the same students have to submit the re-evaluation form to the Departmental Secretary, MSBSHSE along with Rs. 300 per subject as a Re-evaluation fee.
Students who fail to pass in one (or more) subjects will be given a chance to save their year by appearing for that examination again.
These exams will be conducted in the third week of July 2020 and the result for the same will be released in August 2020.
