Manipur Board/COHSEM Class 12th: Result released, 86% students pass the exam. Check result link here!

Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) declared the result for Class 12th Examination 2020 today i.e. 17th July 2020 at 1 PM on its official website. The Class 12th examination result was earlier expected to release on 15th July 2020 but was not due to some technical issues.

Students who appeared for Manipur Class 12th  exam 2020, can check their results on the official result website of COHSEM i.e. manresults.nic.in .

The information regarding the result declaration on 17th July was made available on the official website of the COHSEM and the Education minister also made the announcement from his office in Imphal on the Educational Channel “Lairik” for Manipur.

CLASS 12TH 2020 RESULTS:

Around 29,144 students have appeared for the Class 12th Examination this year but only 25064 students cleared the examination. The overall pass percentage is 86%.

Science: Archana Hijam with 485 marks.

Commerce: Justina Yendrembam with 448 marks.

Arts : Khomdram Menaka Devi with 464 marks.

RESCHEDULED EXAMINATION:

Due to coronavirus and national lockdown two subject exams of Class 12th were postponed which were to be conducted on 20th March 2020 and 23rd March 2020. These examinations were then rescheduled on 6th and 7th July. Around 3618 candidates appeared for the rescheduled examination.

The examination was conducted keeping in mind all the safety measures such as social distancing, masks, sanitization, etc.

 CLASS 12TH 2019 RESULTS:

Last year around 28,649 students appeared for the Class 12th Exam 2019, but only 21,151 students cleared the examination. The overall pass percentage was around 73.83%.

CLASS 10TH RESULT IN 2020:

The Board has already released Manipur Class 10th Results on 15th June 2020 at 2 pm. Reshmi Nandeibam topped the Class 10th Exam 2020 with 96.5% while the second position was secured by Huidrom Rohid Singh with 96.33% marks. The overall pass percentage for the BSEM Class 10th students was 65.34% this year.

Steps to check your Manipur 12th Result 2020 / Manipur HSLC Result

  1. Visit the official website: manresults.nic.in
  2. Click on Manipur Class 12th Exam Result 2020 link on the homepage
  3. Enter the required details and click submit tab
  4. You Manipur Class 12th Result 2020 will appear on your result
  5. Take a printout of it and keep for future reference.

VERIFICATION:

Students can also apply for verification if they want to if they expect more marks. In this only, the totaling of the marks would be done again.

For the same, the candidate has to submit a form to Departmental Secretary, COHSEM along with the verification fee per subject.

RE-EVALUATION:

Students can apply for the re-evaluation where the answer sheets will be checked again, which may result in an increase or decrease of marks.

For the same students have to submit the re-evaluation form to the Departmental Secretary, COHSEM along with the nominal fee per subject.

SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATION:

Students who fail to pass in one (or more) subjects will be given a chance to save their year by appearing for that examination again. Students need at least 35% in each subject to pass the examination. If any student scores below the required percentage, he/she will be given a second chance to appear for that subject. The dates for the compartment will soon be shared after the results are released.

75% or above Distinction
60% or 74% First Division
45% to 59% Second Division
35% to 44% Pass Grade
34% or below Failed
