Finally India can breathe now…..On Election result eve I couldn’t sleep at all so I can imagine how much tossing and turning BJP leaders and workers have done. PM Modi too must be having hard time to sleep on the night of 22nd May. As they say “All is well when end is well”, in fact for PM Modi and BJP everything went well since the beginning. With the speed BJP took lead, left and right they thrashed their opponents and it became unstoppable. It was not a wave it was Tsunami of Modi.
Here is the link to check exact numbers of seats won by different party.
BJP by the time I am writing this blog have won 286 seats and leading in 17 seats, which means they will easily cross 300 marks and will get 303 marks. That is a sweet spot, I am sure Amit Shah and PM Modi must be happy with the performance (I am just downplaying it , they must be jumping on their beds at least BJP workers for sure).

Surprisingly congress is limited to 52 seats only which means they will not get the leader of opposition post this time too. Such a huge embarrassment for the grand old party but the embarrassment train did not stop here, in biggest turnaround Smriti Irani beat Rahul Gandhi by more than 55000 votes. Woww…Smriti Irani should be given the tag of “Prince Slayer” ( like King slayer in Game of Thrones). She even after losing in 2014 did not lose hope and she went back to Amethi and did ground work which paid off. Rahul Gandhi came out and concedes the defeat and congratulates PM Modi and Smriti Irani too.
300+ seats was the dream of Lt. Former PM Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, I am sure L.K. Advani must be very happy irrespective of the fact that his ticket was cancelled by BJP because Atal ji and Advani both cultivated this party with their own hand. Advani ji and other must be missing Atal ji on this day.
If Amit Shah was in the role of captain then PM Modi was the Man of the Tournament. From setting narrative of election campaign to bringing opposition to their own battle turf every single thing was crafted so delicately that it ended in 303 seats for BJP. Hats off , really Congress need to learn something from BJP and its workers.
BJP has got the biggest mandate ever got by any non congress party, it has improved own record set in 2014 and this is a historic result in many aspects like first time a non congress PM will be at the helm for 10 years and first time a non congress party has received majority consecutively and many others record which we will discuss in coming days.
Before I go to the bed all I want to recite the famous line said by Peter Parker in Spiderman ” With great power comes great responsibility” and I hope best from Modi 2.0.
Take Care!
