National Institute of Open Learning (NIOS) has released the result for Class 10th on its official website. candidates who have appeared for the NIOS Class 10th Examination can download their result from the official website of NIOS i.e. nios.ac.in.
As the examination for the NIOS Class 10th were cancelled due to the COVID pandemic, the marks to the students were given on the basis of internal assessment.
This year around 3.5 lakh students had applied for the NIOS Class 10th Examination the result of which is usually released in the month of June every year.
The results have been declared online and were not sent to the candidates individually.
Candidates will get their marksheets, certificates and other documents from their respective institutes.
Steps to download result for NIOS Class 10th Result 2020:
- Visit NIOS official website @ nios.ac.in.
- Click on the live link to go to the NIOS Result Page
- Enter your admit card number, date of birth or other important information
- Click on the submit button.
- Your NIOS 10th Result will be displayed on the screen
- Download it and print it for future reference.
UPDATED 1st August 2020
NIOS has canceled all the examinations for Class 10th and 12th. As per the notification released, the results will be made on the basis of the past assessment but there will be an option for the student to re-appear for the examination in the next semester exam.
Students who appeared in the examination can check their results on the official website i.e. nios.ac.in.
These examinations were earlier scheduled in March – April 2020 but due to Coronavirus and national lockdown, examinations were postponed to July- August 2020 but now looking at the current COVID situation in the country it has been canceled again.
An official notification has been released stating how the result will be made and other important information regarding the examination.
The notification stated that “For all learners who were to appear for the first time and their Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA) and/or practical marks are available, their performance will be calculated based on the basis of available TMA and/or practical marks.”
Last year the result was released on 5th June 2019.
