The National Testing Agency NTA has announced the NEET Result 2020 on its official website soon. As per the sources The NEET Result 2020, NEET Medical Result 2020, NEET 2020 Result was declared today i.e. 16th October at 5:30 pm on its official website @ ntaneet.nic.in.

Candidates are unable to check their results due to heavy traffic on the website. The result has been released as Scorecard.

Steps to download NEET Result 2020

  1. Visit the official website @ ntaneet.nic.in
  2. Search tab saying download NEET Result 2020, click on it
  3. A new window will open, enter the required details
  4. Your NTA NEET Result 2020 will be displayed on your screen.
  5. Download and take a printout of your score for future reference.

Earlier the result was expected to be released on 12th October 2020 on the official website but was postponed due to some reasons.

Candidates who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 can check their NEET Result 2020, NEET Medical Result 2020, NEET 2020 Result @ ntaneet.nic.in or nta.ac.in . Candidates can check their NEET Medical Result on mcc.nic.in.

The NEET exam was conducted on 13th September in which around 15.97 lakh students appeared for the examination. It is expected that the cut-off might be high this year.

SPECIAL EXAM ON 14TH OCTOBER 2020.

Many students were unable to appear for the NEET 2020 examination on 13th September 2020 due to being COVID positive or due to being in the contamination zone. These students were given a chance to appear for the examination on 14th October 2020, the result of which will also be made available on 16th October 2020.

MARKING SCHEME:

NEET 2020 merit list will be prepared as per the directives of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Council of India (MC), and Dental Council of India (DCI). The admission procedure will be done in accordance with the NEET Medical merit list 2019, NEET Dental merit list 2020.  The general category candidate’s minimum 50% is required to be be considered for the NEET 2020 merit list. For those belonging to reserved including SC and ST category, the minimum marks are 40 percentile and for PwD candidates it is 45 percentile.

Once NEET result 2020 will be declared, the schedule for NEET counseling will be uploaded soon on the official website.
