Tamil Nadu Board has released the results for the Class 11th (Plus One) Exam 2020 on its official website soon. Candidates who have appeared for the Tamil Nadu Board Class 11th Exam 2020 can download their result from the official website of Tamil Nadu Board i.e. tnresults.nic.in once released.
Tamil Nadu Board will declare the results for Class 10th Examination s0on while the results for Class 12th were released on 17th July 2020 on its official website.
THIS YEAR RESULT:
This year more than 9 lakh students appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 11th Examination 2020. Overall Pass percentage recorded is 96.04%. A total of 2716 schools scored a 100% result.
CLASS 12TH RESULT THIS YEAR:
Around 7.5 lakh students appeared for the examination out of which only about 7.2 lakh students cleared. The overall pass percentage is 92.34%
Tiruppur district topped with 97.12% result, while Erode district stood second with 96.66% and third was Coimbatore with 96.39%
As we all know the exams are usually conducted in the month of March- April every year. This year due to increasing COVID Cases and National Lockdown the exams were postponed in order to avoid contamination.
Due to lockdown the evaluation process was put on hold and was again started in the 2nd week of May 2020.

Due to heavy traffic on the official website, students may face issues to download their Tamil Nadu Board Class 11th Exam 2020 results. For the same, they can visit any of the following alternative websites (direct link provided) to check their results.
Steps to download the result for Tamil Nadu Board Class 11th Exam 2020:
- Visit the official website @ tnresults.nic.in
- On the home page, click on “Class 11th Exam result”
- A new page will open, fill in the required credentials of course.
- Your Tamil Nadu Board Class 11th Exam 2020 result will appear on your screen.
- Download and take a print out of the result for future reference.
Students can also apply for verification if they want to if they expect more marks. In this only, the totaling of the marks would be done again.
For the same, the candidate has to submit a form to Departmental Secretary, Tamil Nadu Board along with the verification fee per subject.
Students can apply for the re-evaluation where the answer sheets will be checked again, which may result in an increase or decrease of marks.
