Tamil Nadu Board will soon release results for the Class 10^th (SSLC) Exam 2020 on its official website soon. It is expected that the result is likely to be declared on Monday i.e. 10th August 2020 at 9:30am

Candidates who have appeared for the Tamil Nadu Board SSLC Class 10^th Exam 2020 can download their result from the official website of Tamil Nadu Board i.e. tnresults.nic.in once released.

Tamil Nadu Board is yet to declare the results for Class 11th Examination while the results for Class 12th have already released on 17th July 2020 on its official website.

MARKING SCHEME

More than 9 lakh students have appeared for the Class 10th Examination this year. Earlier the examination was scheduled between 27th March 2020 to 13th April 2020 but due to national lockdown, these examinations were postponed. These examinations were later rescheduled from 1st June 2020 but then canceled taking into consideration the COVID situation in the state.

Now as per the marking scheme 80% weightage will be given to the marks scored in quarterly and half-yearly assessment tests while the 20% weightage will be given to the school attendance.

CLASS 12TH RESULT THIS YEAR:

Around 7.5 lakh students appeared for the examination out of which only about 7.2 lakh students cleared. The overall pass percentage is 92.34%

Tiruppur district topped with 97.12% result, while Erode district stood second with 96.66% and third was Coimbatore with 96.39%

RESULT DELAYED

As we all know the exams are usually conducted in the month of March- April every year. This year due to increasing COVID Cases and National Lockdown the exams were postponed in order to avoid contamination.

Due to lockdown the evaluation process was put on hold and was again started in the 2^nd week of May 2020.

Steps to download the result for Tamil Nadu Board Class 10^th Exam 2020:

1. Visit the official website @ tnresults.nic.in
2. On the home page, click on “SSLC Class 10^th Exam result”
3. A new page will open, fill in the required credentials of course.
4. Your Tamil Nadu Board Class 10^th Exam 2020 result will appear on your screen.
5. Download and take a print out of the result for future reference.

VERIFICATION:

Students can also apply for verification if they want to if they expect more marks. In this only, the totaling of the marks would be done again.

For the same, the candidate has to submit a form to Departmental Secretary, Tamil Nadu Board along with the verification fee per subject.

RE-EVALUATION:

Students can apply for the re-evaluation where the answer sheets will be checked again, which may result in an increase or decrease of marks.

For the same students have to submit the re-evaluation form to the Departmental Secretary, Tamil Nadu Board along with the nominal fee per subject.
