UPSC released e-summon letter and schedule for UPSC Mains Personality Test (PT) 2020 @ upsc.gov.in

UPSC has released the e-summon letter and schedule  for the UPSC Mains Personality Test (PT) 2020  which will be held from 17th February 2020 to 2nd April for the qualified candidates of the UPSC Civil Mains 2019 that were conducted from 20th September 2019 to 29th September 2019 on their official website i.e. upsc.gov.in

The UPSC Mains Personality Test (PT) 2020  examination will be conducted at the UPSC Office which is located in New Delhi.

Steps to check the e-summon letter for UPSC Mains Personality Test (PT) 2020

  1. Visit the official website @ www.upsc.gov.in
  2. Scroll down and click on the Interview tab on the right.
  3. A new page will open, click on e-summon letter.
  4. A new page will open, now Click on the link  “download” in front of the Civil services Main Examination 2019.
  5. New Page will open, enter your required credentials
  6. Click on Submit/ Login
  7. Your e-summon letter for UPSC Mains Personality Test (PT) 2020 will appear on your screen.
  8. Download the e-summon letter and take print out for future reference.

Steps to check the Schedule for UPSC Mains Personality Test (PT) 2020

  1. Visit the official website @ www.upsc.gov.in
  2. Scroll down and click on the Interview tab on the right.
  3. A new page will open, click on Interview schedule.
  4. A new page will open, now download the PDF schedule format for Civil services Main Examination 2019.
  5. Your Schedule for UPSC Mains Personality Test (PT) 2020 will appear on your screen
  6. Download the schedule and take print out for future reference.

 

UPSC Mains Personality Test (PT) 2020 round would be of 275 marks where the candidates would be evaluated and scored on the basis of various criteria’s such as:

  1. Suitability for the job
  2. Ability to do the job
  3. Quality
  4. Personality

This final round of evaluation can last for 45 minutes or so depending upon the candidate or the questions.

Documents that the candidate needs to carry at the time of personality test are as follows:

  1. Original documents that prove candidate’s
  • Age
  • Education qualification
  • Caste
  • Disability (if any)
  • Any other important additional documents (if any)
  1. Application form
  2. Printout of the e-summon letter
  3. NOC from the department (if already a government employee)
  4. Two recent passport size photograph (self attested)

Candidates should check their personality test schedule (date and time) accordingly as the entry to the exam venue will close 10 minutes prior to the exam time and no delay would be entertained.

Based on the interview candidates who qualify this final round would be selected for:

  1. Indian Foreign Service
  2. Indian Police Service
  3. Indian Administrative Service
  4. Other central services
